Beware the cat

I had some difficulty getting this shot. The wall I had to shot around was pretty walling, it blocked a whole lot of angles, but I think it came out OK. The sun was getting a little high in the sky, but I still wanted this shot. What do you think?

New Years '16

I took this shot around 8 A.M., on the first day of 2016. It is kind of a tradition for me to walk around and take a few shots of the aftermath from the evening before. I like this...I am not sure why, maybe I wonder what happened to the glass that held the ice. I'm not sure, but he colours and shapes of the ice cubes work for me. Maybe I wonder why these pieces of ice are where they are and how did they make it so long after being spilled?
