Goombay '15

The Goombay Fest happened. Boy did it bring out a diverse collection of people. These two women had the cutest puppy.

The music inspired many to look up and maybe find some understanding.

This kid was inspired to dance

Honor the Vets

I like the way the colors and shadow worked on this memorial.

A puppy!

It was the end of a long day for this little guy. Yet he sure seemed  game.

My girl and her friend

Coffee and Motorcycles

This guy has  just started doing business. I like his style.

Another from the Avery's Creek UMC car show

You know this old gal has seen some miles.

A few more photos to peruse

Around Biltmore village are a number of really interesting shops. I cannot afford to go inside them, much less buy anything from them. But a few of them have interesting art outside. The art tries to draw in potential customers. These Brass sunflowers are outside of a very nice Mexican Bistro.

I was walking around on Sunday morning and saw a mannequin outside of a clothing store. Truthfully it's outfit was a little faded and boring but then I looked a little closer...

Saturday evening at the Straightaway Cafe

Aw, Kimberly. What a nice conversation we had. Though she is a religiously conservative thinker, we were able to have a fantastic discourse on many things. I will remember our moments together with great fondness. Your future is ahead  and bright!

OMG! This little one could brighten the day of even the most jaded. She may not have understood what the funny thing hiding my face was, but she sure did know some funny looking guy was paying attention to her!

Her face was sooo expressive! Not a moment passed after taking this image, she let out a shriek of happiness!

Avery Creek UMC Car Show, Part 3

Still More...

This a nice shot of the pin striping and logo for  the 59 T-Bird.

I am not sure what this holds, But it looks really good!

Now this is the power Plant, Custom Built. Off to the bottom left was the battery, But I removed it because it interfered with the balance of the shot. What do ya' Think?

Avery Creek UMC Car Show, Part 2

Here are some some shots from yesterday

Mr. Heddon did all the work on this beauty. He's in the background with his schnauzer. I spent  a minute with is beauty. Enjoy!

If you look closely at the radiator cap, you nat see that it is also a gage. Mr Ford you had it going on!

If you look at the Spark plug wires, you will see they are not insulated. That one way to control the varmints under the hood. I was told that the shock would send a grown man to his knees.

Avery Creek UMC Car Show, Part 1

Let's start with some Pinstripes.

A Safe little nymph

I spied this little wood nymph celebrating Life and my camera made me do it!

I wonder what this guy is thinking? He sure could play that guitar well though
